I think I waited a little to long to buy or order some blackberry canes which is disappointing but I was wondering if anyone had advice on when would be best to plant some? I read that you can plant them in September but I figured the winter would kill them off if I did that. I live in Kentucky near Louisville if knowing my location helps. For reference, I live in Turkey. Back in SF6 OBT, I played people from the UK (basically the farthest point of Europe to us) in the battle hub and could play with 80ms ping, 0 frame lag. I was surprised how well the netcode was. The games were flawless. I have 45ms delay to servers in Frankfurt, and 60ms to servers in London in numerous other games. In SFV, again, I would queue into the same people over and over. When I tried to queue in SFV 5-6 months ago, it wouldn't even find a match for 30+ minutes. I feel like it will be the same with SF6. When the hype dies out (in my country at least), it won't even find a match. My internet speeds are 500mbps down/20mbps up. Even though I can play with people from Europe just fine, the game just doesn't let me queue into people from Europe. I wanted to give this game a go and try to climb the ladder and perhaps play competitively. If there are any Turkish people in this sub (highly doubt it lol), I'd be happy if you could share your situation as well.
One more thing, this might be due to my ISP assigning a CGN IP to me. I will experiment on this further and share my findings here.
edit: It's highly likely that this^ is the issue. I used a VPN and now I can find a match every few seconds and play with people from other countries. Again, lag free.

Hey there, I am a first-time dog owner. I got Merlin (8y) from a rescue when he was 2 years old and I just love him so much. What I wanted to ask was, how do you cope with worrying about your dog? Maybe I am just too sensitive and am worrying too much, but he, his health and happiness are constantly on my mind. For example, about one or two months ago he was not really motivated for his usual walk. I have a "small round" of about 30 minutes and a "long round" of about 1,5h. Most of the time he pulls me towards the long round, but at said time, he did it almost never. I went to the vet with him and got his blood checked (he had some issues with low white blood cells exactly a year ago, which we never found a reason for, it just went back to normal) and his blood was alright. Again his white blood cells were lower than normal but they were similar to last year when they were on their way back to normal. He also had a problem with his stomach (the vet guessed reflux) because he had times were he was constantly licking and smacking his lips for about 30 minutes non-stop. Now he got his motivation back in the morning and likes his long round again. But during the day and in the evening I have to persuade him to go and then he only wants to walk shorter than is short round. But now he does not want to eat his wet food. I offer him food in the morning after the first walk and in the evening after his last walk. If he does not eat his food after ~15 minutes I take it away so it does not stand there the whole day. Around noon I try giving it to him again, sometimes with a little lactose-free milk, as he normally loves that. Today he did not even want that and he only ate his food after I handfed him some pieces. Now in the evening, I put down a fresh portion of food and he did not eat it again. These phases of not eating are not new to me but I worry every damn time. They normally last a few days and after that it is back to normal.
I know this was a lot to read and I probably sound like a total hypochondriac but I am so scared to overlook some clues that something is wrong with him. I just want him to be happy and healthy😔 How do you cope with the worrying and the not knowing?

I've always dreamed of a hero that I know will never come to my aid, some miraculous person able to heal my hatred for this rotten world and make my pain go away. But there is no miracle. My pain is mine and mine alone, no one can help me change it, no one can help me defeat it. And yet, every night I go to bed, I still think of that hero tending their hand to me, waking me from the neverending nightmare, because I still want that glimpse of hope. There is a small island at -0282,0059,???? that is extremely high up. I can only barely see it if I go to the Great Sky Island and start flying towards it, but any device I try to make breaks before I’m even close. As the QSBS exception is either $10M or 10X the cost basis, I am trying to increase the cost basis of my founder stock from $0 to $15M.
Step 1: Register my startup as an LLC now (when the company is valued at $0) and I retain 100% ownership.
Step 2: In 3 months (roughly) when I take on outside funding, I convert my LLC to C-Corp. Because of Section 351, this conversion will not be a taxable event.
Step 3: At the time of conversion, the tax basis is equal to the FMV of the interest held in the LLC that is exchanged for ownership in the C-Corp. So, for a founder even though I did not infuse any capital, my cost basis will be my ownership percentage of the LLC’s FMV at the time of conversion. At the time of conversion, the fair market value of the LLC that is being contributed to the C-Corp will be $15M (assumed pre-money valuation). FMV for a startup can be very close to the pre-money valuation in 409a analysis, that I used to do in my past life.
Step 4: After five years and three months, when I sell my company, my QSBS exemption will be $150M (10X of $15M)
I will reach out to a tax advisor before incorporating my company as the prospect of dramatically increasing the QSBS exemption is very tempting.

Relevant section from the article:
“The enterprise value (which includes goodwill value) of start-ups can increase dramatically during the early years of operation. This creates a potential planning opportunity involving operating a start-up as a partnership for several years and then incorporating the partnership and in the process, issuing QSBS to the partners in exchange for their partnership interests. Both a partnership’s assets and partnership interests qualify as a property that can be contributed by a partnership or LLC to a C corporation (generally in a Section 351 exchange) in exchange for QSBS.
The planning opportunity afforded through the incorporation of a partnership arises out of the fact that for Section 1202 gain exclusion purposes, the tax basis of property contributed in exchange for QSBS is deemed to be the fair market value of the property at the time of contribution. If a partnership is incorporated, the enterprise value of the partnership’s business would generally be treated as the fair market value of the contributed property. So, if the owners of a business decide to operate a start-up through an LLC or limited partnership and incorporate the business only after the enterprise value has increased substantially, the 10X Basis Cap could substantially increase the owners’ aggregate gain exclusion.
Section 1202 also provides that when appreciated property is contributed in exchange for QSBS, the difference between the tax basis of the property and its fair market value for Section 1202 purposes does not qualify for the gain exclusion when the QSBS is eventually sold.
Here is an example of how the 10X Basis Cap works when a partnership is converted to a C corporation and QSBS is issued to the partners. If John Smith and Susan Jones operate their business as equal owners in the early years through XYZ LLC, and incorporate the business when the fair market value of XYZ LLC’s business is $25 million, each of them will have a $112.5 million (10 x $12.5 million – $12.5 million) gain exclusion under Section 1202 when they sell their XYZ Corp. QSBS after five years. Contrast this result with an example where John Smith and Susan Jones each initially capitalize XYZ Corp. with $50,000 and sell their QSBS for $250 million after seven years. In this second example, each of John Smith and Susan Jones gain exclusion would be limited to the standard $10 Million Cap."

So I've been single for over 4 years now and honestly I'm missing having someone to cuddle up with when it's cold out, and to share all the snacks with during cosy nights in (I'm eating two people's worth of snacks right now and it's seriously not good for me!). Normal dating apps suck, and I've met some cool people here before, so let's try this again!
I know appearance is important to a lot of people so I'll start by saying I'm not the greatest looking person in the world. I'm happy to share some terrible selfies once we've been chatting for a bit, but here's a quick summary to start with. I'm white, I've got short brown hair, and blue/greyish eyes. I am fat (not just a bit chubby), but I am also 6'4 so that's gotta be a good thing right? I'm also pretty strong, so combine that with all the extra padding and I can guarantee the best hugs and cuddles you've ever had! Plus, wanna see what life's like up here? I work as a Senior AV technician at a university down here. It's pretty fun, I get to play with all sorts of technology and I really enjoy my job, even if it does get a bit stressful at times with all the big projects we're doing.
Unfortunately with covid and the current economic situation and the general state of the world I can't afford to move out and I'm still living at home, but I'm making the most of not having to pay a mortgage and rent and everything at the moment by saving up for a new car and planning on doing some travelling later in the year. My first plan is a trip to Svalbard and I'd totally love someone to come and join me!
Outside of work I'm pretty much the typical gamesci-fi/fantasy nerd! I built a gaming PC a couple of years ago and I'll give pretty much any game a go. I'm not really into competitive type games since I'm not very good at them (I can't carry you ingame but I totally will in real life 😛), but survival and adventure stuff is always fun. I'm also into strategy games and all the usual fun multiplayer stuff. I also got back into Warhammer 40K a couple of years ago but that has kind of slowed down now since I kind of overwhelmed myself with models and burnt out on the painting a little bit...
Film and TV wise I mostly like Sci-Fi and Fantasy stuff, Star Wars, Marvel, LOTR, and Dr Who are some of my favourites. I do also like a good horror film, or a good documentary, usually on some obscure paranormal weird thing. If anyone fancies doing any ghost hunting or exploring I'll happily come and see what happens!
So what kind of person am I looking for? Well;
Preferably someone in the UK (especially down in the South East), I can drive so basically anywhere in the country is fairly easy to get to.
I don't mind if you're from abroad, but please be from an English speaking country (US/Canada/Australia/etc), or willing to relocate to the UK someday as I've tried learning other languages in the past and it's definitely not happening.
Physically I don't really have a "type". Anything from normal up to thicc with 5 c's is fine by me, the only real preference is that you're not super skinny since I don't wanna be worried about breaking you 😂 I'm totally not bothered by height, even if somehow you're taller than me!
Overall I'm just looking for someone kind, caring, and non-judgemental who actually wants to talk to and spend time with me as much as I want to talk to and spend time with them.
