Apparently new players are unable to use the lfg app!? I learned this by making a new acct for fun and tried to find a FT for VOG only to be met with a prompt box stating “Cannot create fireteam - fireteams require a Destiny 2 character with a guardian rank above 5.”
I get it, most people won’t care care because we’re either at gr6 because ‘why keeping leveling an ego number’ or at gr11 to show how moist our chairs are. But it’s reasons like this that I can’t support these terrible choices the company continues to make. Everyone deserves a chance to play the game and gatekeeping the help and players by forcing the people to play alone for hours if not days is not acceptable.

Why reroll?
How to Reroll?
If you're an existing player, delete your local data or cache first. Otherwise, do not link your account to Nintendo. Doing so will bind your Pokémon Masters account to your Nintendo profile permanently and can no longer be removed.
As of now, if you progress up to the point when co-op mode is unlocked, you can get at least 21.000 gems, the equivalent of 7 multis, earning at least 231/400 scout points (33 scout points per multi scout), allowing you to scout at least 77 Sync Pairs. Completing the following checkpoints will let you receive gems as completion rewards:
These missions are completed progressively as you play the game, so they are not listed in numerical order.
These missions can be completed multiple times as the player reaches new checkpoints.
These missions can only be completed once but give a high amount of gems.
If you are not satisfied with your pulls, click on the Poryphone at the right-bottom corner in the Pokémon Center -> Account -> Delete Save Data. Repeat the above steps until you pulled the Sync Pair you want.
Now that you're ready to go on an adventure, link your account through Poryphone Menu by tapping "Account", then "Link a Nintendo Account" to save your progress. After that, try to get any free Sync Pairs as you progress:

Evolution requires an evolution item available in the Training Area (Evolution Material Area). Upon earning the Evolution Materials, you need to go to the Sync Pair Stories to trigger the Evolution Story.
3. Should I save to do 11 multi-scouts instead of single scouts?
You can now get x11 units instead of 10, so yes, but we strongly recommend you to save gems for Poké Fair or Master Fair banners (which has a higher rate for 5★ characters).
4. How many gems are required to receive a Sync Pair of my choice?
36.600 non-paid gems (or 36.300 gems + 100 paid gems for a daily single pull), which is the equivalent of 400 scout points. Scout points do not carry over between banners.
5. What does [X]/5, [Y]/20, etc mean?
When you obtain a Sync Pair, they're at 1/5 Sync Move level. Rolling a dupe of that Sync Pair, or using a Move Candy will increase it by 1 level. 3/5 is the minimum for most sync pairs to complete their Sync Grid, but some Poké Fairs have grid expansions that require their Sync Move to be completely maxed out at 5/5 for their full Sync Grid.
At the same time, Sync Pairs are at 0/20 Potential when they're just obtained. Giving Sync Pairs Powerups will raise their Potential and stats. When a Sync Pair is given 20 powerups, their star level will be increased. Getting a unit to 5★ 20/20 is mandatory for it to further upgrade to 6★ EX (if it has one).

For Strikers, if their kit has a very high DPS (e.g. SS Red & Charizard, Diantha & Gardevoir, etc.), or includes a powerful Sync multiplier (e.g. Steven & Metagross's Haymaker, Barry & Empoleon's Inertia, etc.), you are highly recommended to upgrade them to 6★ EX to apply the damage to all opponents. This applies to Tech, but only if the unit is a Sync nuker (e.g. Marnie & Morpeko, May & Swampert, etc.).
Promoting Support-type units to 6★ EX is not a must, but it's always an added bonus, especially if their Sync Move can provide any additional effects via passive or grid skills.
Always remember to upgrade Rosa to 6★ EX because the materials are obtainable for free.
12. Which Sync Pair should I use my candy on?

Reroll Guide

Try to upgrade them to 5/5 20/20 as soon as possible and invest in their Sync Grids; they will be valuable assets for content clearing. Do note that exclusive materials such as Champion Spirit and Sync Grid expansion for these Sync Pair are only obtainable in event reruns, and hence event-limited.

Setting a 6am alarm when I don't need to sounds on the surface like a complex method of self-torture, BUT.
I roll over at 6, chug down my Vyvanse, roll back over and [dozerelaxpass out] until my real alarm goes off at 8 - or, more likely, I wake up properly by myself not long before that wide awake and ready to go? Who knew that could happen????
At the moment it feels so great I'm not even forgetting to lay the pill and a water bottle out by my bed...much. (yesterday I felt around blearily for it, then realised I had set out every pill but the Vyvanse, oops)
Added bonus that having a reason to lay my morning meds out forces me to remember to take my evening thyroid pill, which uh. I've forgotten so often my thyroid actually got worse in the past 4 months.
Usually when I find something that galvanises me to do the things I'm supposed to, there's a monkey's paw-level downside, so I'm just super excited to find a harmless life hack that's actually working for me! Hi everybody. Like you, I was very very anxious about the idea of removing my wisdom teeth. I did a lot — and I mean a lot — of research beforehand and during my entire journey. I am now 9 days post OP, and thought it would be a great idea to compile all my notes 📝
# CHOOSING YOUR NUMB 💉
As you might know, wisdom teeth extraction involves slicing your gums open in order to extract the wisdom tooth, buried below the gums. Sometimes, if your wisdom tooth is emerged, surgeons will be able to just pull it out without having to do any incisions. Nevertheless, you still need some type of numbing to block the pain, usually called **anesthesia**
There are two types of anesthesia you may choose from for this procedure:
- **General Anesthesia** is the most common form of numbing anesthetic used to prevent patients from feeling pain. In this form of anesthesia, you will be injected in the arm (vein) and will be knocked out cold temporarily. The dosage depends on how hard your wisdom teeth are to take out. Some will need to be asleep for 30 mins while others an hour. Surgeons will monitor your heart rate, oxygen, and pulse using an external machine.
- **Local Anesthesia** is the other form of numbing anesthetic used. Though less common than General, local is also a good option and is what I used personally. During local anesthesia, you are completely awake. Surgeons will inject anesthetics directly into your gums, and you will feel the sting almost identical to the flu shot but on your gums. Sometimes, surgeons will pre-numb your mouth using a numbing cream or numbing spray. Because you are awake during the procedure, you will feel *pressure* during the wisdom teeth extraction ie you will feel the dentist pulling your wisdom tooth out. There will be no pain besides the initial injection/sting of the anesthesia
*a quick note on brain~stuff 🧠* sometimes, surgeons can provide laughing-gas (Nitrous Oxide) which can make you feel a bit *happier* and less stressed about your current situation. Likewise, waking up from general anesthetia provides a similar dazzy effect. A FAQ is “will x make me admit my secrets?” Yes and no. It depends on who you are and how you react to the side effects. Some people will spill secrets and some will just laugh and have no idea what is going on. It’s important to note that surgeons understand this, and feel free to have your significant other sit in another room and explain why.
# BEFORE THE PROCEDURE ⏰
Fast for 8 hours before the surgery. No liquids or foods 8 hours especially if you are using general anesthetic for the procedure. Even if you are not using general anesthesia, it’s a good idea to fast so that you don’t accidentally gag and the food comes up… ew!
If you are using general anesthesia, it is required you have a friend or family member stay with you and be able to drive you home. Even if you are using local anesthesia, you should still prepare a ride just in case the pain becomes unbearable afterwards.
*A quick note on pineapples 🍍* a lot of people on Tik tok suggest drinking loads of pineapple juice to help with healing after the surgery because of a naturally occurring chemical known as bromelain in pineapples that helps inflammation. There hasn’t been enough research into this, but I say it doesn’t hurt to try. There’s no pain in drinking a glass of pineapple juice 8 hours the surgery (unless you wanna cut on sugars)
# AFTERCARE 🦷
You finished surgery. Great! Now comes the greatest challenge, avoiding dry socket and healing completely
## WHAT IS DRY SOCKET 🌵
After you get your wisdom teeth removed, there will be a hole where they once were. This hole will bleed for the first 5-8 hours and is normal to ooze blood. Eventually, a **blood clot** will grow over this hole and stops bleeding. **YOUR GOAL IS TO KEEP THIS INTACT IN ALL COSTS**. If the blood clot is dislodged you will get a painful condition known as dry socket. This is when the blood clot was dislodged (removed) and now the hole is wide open with the nerves exposed. It is a risk from day 3 - day 10, with high risk being from day 3-5
## HOW DO I KNOW I HAVE DRY SOCKET 😨
Dry socket is hard to spot, so it is mainly diagnosed with symptoms. The most obvious sign is if you see a blood clot outside your mouth. As in you’re brushing teeth and suddenly a massive blood clot (looks like strawberry jam) falls off into the sink. If you happen to swallow this clot unknowingly, here’s other symptoms: extreme, throbbing pain all throughout the jaw and even extending to the temples, more bleeding even past day 1
# HOW TO AVOID DRY SOCKET 🧘♀️
**NO SUCTION** No spitting, sucking, straws, kissing, blowing nose, vacuuming chip crumbs with your mouth literally whatever causes suction for the first **TWO WEEKS**
Why? Suction can pull the blood clot from the hole. Simple.
Other tips: don’t work out or do anything to raise blood pressure for first two weeks. This can affect blood formation and slow healing. Also, when gargling don’t swirl the liquid (it might catch the clot) instead, tilt your head and open mouth simply when ready to discard water.
# EXTRACTION SITE CARE 🩹
For the first hour - 2 hours, bite on the gauze to stop bleeding. You can also use a teabag (non emptied), the tea leaves have medicinal anti bleeding properties. Do not brush or rinse mouth for first 24-48 hours. Don’t wanna mess with extraction site. Apply ice on your cheeks to reduce face puffiness.
Follow medication instructions. Use the chlorohexidine mixture if provided according to instructions. Set alarms for your antibiotics if given.
Sleep a lot. The more you sleep, the more your body has time to repair repair repair!
After 2-3 days, resume light brushing and flossing. Keep doing salt water or chlorohexidine rinses as instructed. Keep taking antibiotics. Use a curved syringe to flush extraction site and get rid of food particles.
# WHAT TO EAT 🍦
The ultimate goal is to let the extraction site heal. Avoid spicy foods (capsaicin can irritate gums), grains, crunchy food, chewy foods, or anything that can easily get stuck in the sockets or cause you discomfort and chewing. Avoid extremely hot things. I recommend:
- ice cream
- smoothies (NO STAW)
- bananas
- pancakes
- overcooked (soft) pasta
- **WARM NOT HOT** soups
- yogurt
- milkshakes (NO STRAW)
After the week one mark, you can pick up whatever you feel comfortable doing that at that point JUST NO STRAW/SUCTION UNTIL WEEK 2.
On that note, drink everything normally as if in a regular cup. Avoid straws.
# I GOT DRY SOCKET. WHAT NOW
Call your surgeon immediately. They will fill the holes with medicine. And follow the how to avoid dry socket steps.
# AFTER WEEK 1
You made it through the hardest part! Now, you’ve likely finished your antibiotics and no longer need to do chlorohexidine rinses. Still rinse your mouth after meals with salt water or use the syringe to flush your food. You can try going back to regular diet but no suction still. The risk of dry socket is basically close to 0 at this point, but be safe by avoiding straws until after week 2
# AFTER WEEK 2
Straws are welcome back! So is working out and basically having everything you used to have. Irrigate and flush the holes or rinse until the hole is completely closed which can take about three weeks to a 2 month depending on how fast your body heals. But at week 2 is when you’re pretty much safe from dry socket
# APPENDIX
## Irrigation
Sometimes, patients are given a curved syringe that they can fill with salt water. Aim directly at the hole and flush. You should see food particles coming out. You do not need to flush the top holes as gravity naturally lets the food fall.
## STITCHES/SUTURES
Sometimes, surgeons stitch the holes closed for better healing. If that’s the case then you don’t need to worry about irrigation. The stitches will usually dissolve or fall out by day 7. If not, call your oral surgeon and ask if they can remove it.
### My stitches fell out on accident too early
No worries! Just treat the site as if you never got stitches. So flush the site and take extra care avoiding straws and suction
Keep taking care of the site by gargling and flushing it until the holes have fully closed (3 weeks - 2 months) et voila!
# GRANULATION TISSUE
Do you see a pale white substance attached to tissue on your site? That’s a good sign and leave it alone that is granulation tissue or recovery tissue. After about three weeks the granulation tissue will become pink and eventually become one with your gums. If you see granulation tissue on neighboring teeth or not the extraction site do not panick. Just leave it alone as it will eventually fade into your gums anyways

The problem will be that in order to close one, you will need to climb the stairs, press the lever, and wait until the water stops flowing and go down to go to the next one, but all this time hordes of weak enemies will constantly appear, which will interfere with the players with all their might , periodically let's say every third wave, stronger enemies will appear - reinforced melee fighters with shields, with heavy weapons, crossbowmen, etc. So the players must stick together and cover the one who will close the locks, and clear the way for him to the next lock.
Or Scenario 2: The players must very slowly open the sheer bridges over the moat in turn, and while the sheer bridge is lowering, fight off endlessly appearing enemies
And scenario 3 - Fetch quest : Players must barrage castle wall to get over it, so they gotta find gunpowder and cannonballs to load 4 cannons and barrage the wall - the part of players must seek powder and cannonballs and other part must protect them while doing so.

Mgmt is willing to ease me into the position by shadowing the first couple weeks and slowly adding in kiddos/evals, would not have full caseload for 3 ish months. No clear mentorship structure though other than “you can shadow your first few weeks and then ask questions anytime”. $67k, only medical (not great coverage though) No retirement for 13 months. Can’t use my 2 weeks of PTO for 6-8months. Unpaid time off isn’t granted to new employees often since the clinic only employs about 6-7 therapists (least amt of seniority). Since clinic is small there isn’t a ton of equipment to work with but other team members are in the same space which is nice for collaboration. First impression was that it was a little disorganized and rundown. You are paid whether or not the kiddo cancels (which is often). No high turnover (most employees have been there 5+ years). 9.5 hour days M-TH half day Friday.
I did an outpatient level II so I understand the high level of burn out but the wide variety of skills you use/ kiddos you see.
School: Supportive district, great reputation. Not a large district, either. 2 schools, about 50 students mix of direct/consult. Main service delivery method would be groups. most likely elementary and pre school. Offering $59k, $4000 sign on bonus, LOTS of benefits (medical, dental, vision, chiropractic, life insurance, retirement matching, etc). Potential ESY work. Director of special education and the motor team were welcoming and kind during the interview. I was offered mentorship w/ the lead OT—but that is going to be less hands on than outpatient, more likely to show me the ropes during the first couple weeks and help me with IEP writing. Obvious perks osuch as time off (district offered 11 days of PTO additionally), and short days (7:30-3 or 8-3:30). Vague answers were given about workspace. Most schools have a small workspace or share with speech/ PT.
Knowing when to discharge/put on direct vs consult and keeping up with deadlines for the paperwork and was the most challenging for me as a level II student. Still loved it though and felt less stressed than OP.
I live in a HCOL area, so pay is a concern and paying off my loans. But, I was so burnt out as a student in OP so idk. I am torn and have been given such conflicting advice so any insight helps :)

This is not a personal thing but in general, here in the country i am in, they like to make excuses instead of take the blame.
(ok maybe a bit personal) I have a neighbor who has quite a lot of cats. We have cats too but they are all well taken care off, vaccinated and neutered. But the neighbor's cats are not and they just let them breed knowing that the kittens won't make it. One of their cats (Casper) is also going out "without them noticing". It is always escaping, they say. And it has been harrassing our cats to the point that one of them got stressed, stopped eating, not drinking, was diagnosed with Uti and was confined in the vet but he is all good now. I messaged the neighbor saying if they can't take care of their cat (Casper has fleas, quite a few mats, a stud tail and been spraying in our garage. Say he has only been going in and out of their home for 2 weeks. We also have a cat that has long fur and he doesnt have any mats. So meaning that they haven't been taking care of Casper for a long time now.) we re willing to take him and put him up for adoption. Ofc they got mad saying it's their pet, that they dont have control of him bc he s an animal and they think its animal abuse to keep them lock indoors. Their house is big, 2 floors and a basement with 6 bedrooms. They have alot of space to run around but idk maybe they put all of their 10+ cats in one room. I think it is their fault that the quality of life of their cats are low. They don't wanna take any blame of not taking care of the cat and just make an excuse that their cat is an animal(Then why even get one in the first place?).
Speaking of 10+ cats, i think its called already hoarding. There was a post i commented to that they should ignore their neighbor calling OP a hoarder of cats when she only has 4 cats. I also put in the comment a description what hoarders are (they have 10+ cats, can't take care of them as they are sickly and they let them be having kittens) and that are at fault for letting those cats get to that point. One replied to me, in english they said, "why can't it just be them taking pity of the kittens/cats and taking them in". Why make an excuse for hoarders? i replied to them yes they have good intentions in the beginning but there is a saying "Too much of anything is bad". It is their fault for not researching or asking help in the beginning on how to care for cats. Now all the cats are suffering and even asking for donations from random strangers in the internet. We rescue, foster and put them up for adoption so rescuing is not an excuse for a hoarder on why they have alot of cats who are now suffering in their supposedly "care".
If i know im at the wrong and at fault, i apologize and i do something about it. Im not bragging or anything but its just basic and common sense.
If you have 10+ cat but are all well taken care off then dont be offended as i already described what a hoarder is.

2023.06.05 07:30 engrng Do co-op clear times not differ much from solo for everyone else?
Just finished the campaign and I did significant chunks of it co-op with a buddy. I know there is a level scaling system in this game for co-op that accounts for level differences between players and all. My buddy and I were roughly 1 - 2 levels apart when in co-op.
On the whole, why does it feel like my clear times of mobs and bosses are roughly similar to when I was solo-ing? Apart from the tiny amount of bonus XP, it doesn't feel like there's much benefit to be running co-op? I was hoping clear times come down at least tangibly but if they did, it certainly didn't feel like it.

Hi All,
I thought I'd share my experience and answer any questions from my POV that come up. 36 yr old male that had a trauma to the c5-c6.
So a couple months back I did a backflip (done a million in my lifetime and never had any reason to think this one would be any different) and upon landing even though I landed on my feet... I knew something was wrong. I had pins and needles radiate down both arms (isolated to ring and pinky fingers). Later 2 further minor incidents (bumping head into a door frame and a slip causing me to catch myself on a door handle) caused symptoms of numbness from the ribs down, poor balance and motor function of legs making walking difficult.
A Doctor visit, CT-scan, Neurosurgeon consultation and MRI later I am told I need urgent surgery and that I've got the worst damage to a spine/neck he's seen this year to date. I had clear damage to my c5-c6 and cervical myelopathy. Two other neurosurgeons took a look at my MRI and have told me that I am incredibly lucky and that without surgery that eventually I will almost definitely get worse and that ACDF surgery has the most chance of improving my quality of life.
Due to the damage, all Neurosurgeon's involved, Dr's and hospitals did amazing work to get my surgery performed in record time (Under 10 days from my first consultation). I am now in day 3 post surgery and my first day since being discharged from hospital.
Post-op I immediately felt significant improvements in my hands (pins and needles), numbness and was pretty sure I had better control over my legs but wasn't allowed to test until hours later when I was able to mobilise and go visit the toilet.
From there I had my post op x-ray to make sure everything was in place, saw a physio and my Neurosurgeon who were happy with the improvements and cleared me to get discharged the next day.
Other things of note - I had hyperreflexia and they were very interested in my response to the hoffman test. I was kept awake until the breathing tube was put into my throat to minimise my potential to damage during surgery and I feel like my Neurosurgeon did an amazing job because I have had minimal throat pain/inflammation in the 3 days post-operation. Talking and swallowing did cause my pain levels to rise slightly and felt that the pain was more intense on day 2 than immediately post-op.
My nerve issues are not 100% gone, but if I had to give the improvement a score it'd be 80-90% better. I am told that the hope is over the next 2-6 weeks as my bones fuse, that I will continue to see improvement.
If there is significant interest in my case/situation, I'm more than happy to provide more information or an update as I rehab/recover.
I hope this helps anyone out there who is concerned and may be going through the same or a similar situation I had.

- Oliver (20M) Knows every single bootlist of every single season, Needs to prove to himself that he's not just a kid (He is just a kid and isn't going to prove anything)
- Candice (38F) A superwomen and a supermom who wants to show to her family how strong she is. Is sneakily strong in challenges but gets unceremoniously removed in the most forgettable episode of the season.
- Kellyanne (20F) The quirky zoomer who is hyper expressive and fizzles out before the merge.Will be spotted at every single Survivor event/watch party for the next decade
- Gary (54M) The token blue collar "old" person, doesn't quite understand the younger generation but is sweet enough to get carried decently far into the mid merge
- Maggie (24F) The unintentionally funny semi maniac that has a one sided rivalry with Gary, and goes out due to her narrowmindedness over it.
- Ray (34M) Mr. Muscle, former professional athlete, vows to not follow the path of the other challenge beasts/athletes but ultimately does just like the rest of them.
- Autumn (28F) The southern belle who gets screen time in the premerge, but then suddenly disappears once the merge hits.
- Dom (18M) Gamebot who absolutley overplays out of the gate and winds up getting voted off first. Jeff's favorite going into the season and somehow gets a return spot over your favorite.
- Layla (29F) Essentially Maggie's sidekick, however she flourishes once she is no longer attached to her, but gets robbed at FTC
The Blue Tribe: Malago
- Jake (22M) The gamebot who thought he had everything planned out but was not ready for the elements and becomes the most irritable person on the island.
- Lupe (36M) Islander from Guam, brings his free spirit into the game to try and charm people into his master plan.
- Aliyah (29F) Has a job that is super social and relates literally of her content to how it relates to her job.
- Julie (33F) Is an exciting player who makes good moves early, but gets absolutley robbed by a twist that's completely unfair.
- Maggie (48F) An older woman who ends up being the kingmaker at the final 5/4 after being dragged there.

Joined my buddies late in their weekend RoN run, they happened to be carrying a couple people through for their first times. Asked me to help out, I said I would. Obviously, was not expecting much out of it. 2.5 hours later, I helped them beat the 3rd and 4th encounters to beat the raid. We were all very pleased after the many, many failed attempts at beating Nezarec. And just as that high had seemed to top out, a bright yellow flash appeared on the right side of my screen and I’d gotten the Conditional Finality for the first time. And just like that, staying up past midnight when I had to get up early for work in the morning didn’t matter. Grateful for this game and the many awesome people I’ve met through it.
If anyone else gets the opportunity to help newer players, just do it. You might not get anything out of it, but they certainly will. And you never know what kind of karma you’re putting in place for yourself.

I'm playing through Peace Walker again for the first time in a very long time, and I have to say, it really is a shame we didn't get more Metal Gear games using this artform. Portable Ops had the same thing but was so mechanically clunky that it's damn near impossible to play. Maybe someday if they give Metal Gear and Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake the remake treatment comic style cutscenes could make for some interesting storytelling.
