Everybody knows that birds do not exist. We are here to ensure that this knowledge extends to the so-called “penguins” that supposedly live on the South Pole of the Earth. In an environment where the average winter temperature is -49° Celsius, the sun is not visible for months at a time, and the only other life there hunts them, do you really think such an organism could survive? It is, therefore, undeniable: penguins can not, and do not, exist.

Terry Rozier of the Boston Celtics... the only NBA player in history to *average* a triple double in every game he starts throughout his entire career. (Well, as of February 1, 2018.) Premium bonds are a type of government issued security. In this instrument, instead of paying each investor a fixed yield, the interest accrued by the entire bond issue is pooled. Only one lucky investor though wins the whole pool at maturity. For everyone else the return is 0%, but for the one favored by fortune, the effective interest rate is very lucrative.
How about a DeFi protocol for asymmetric yield distribution on Quai Network? Where everyone who participates gets an equal opportunity for a huge payout, but others won’t get anything. If this sounds too risky or unpalatable let there be top three/five winners of the drawing share. The drawings could be scheduled weekly, or the frequency could be rescheduled as per the demand or better still depending on the decisions of its DAO governing body.
The odds won’t favor short-term coin flippers though. But for longer term investors in the pool, the greater the chances of the draw favoring them. Also, the more value contribution in the pool, the greater should be the weighted-average chance of a successful drawing.
What can be the contours of the protocol? For starters, any individual’s chances of winning should be determined by a formula that calculates their time-weighted average balance alone. Once the tickets are generated and randomized. Results should be posted on the site to ensure transparency.
In my opinion it incentivizes participants to hold their assets and teaches the community to plan for the long term. Although, it’s an established instrument in real world, web3 penetration is sparse. Since, the idea is too nascent in the crypto space why not explore this niche? What does the community think, does it smell like a lottery?

We live in a society that is now largely dominated by women (they are doing way better in education, dating, etc.) and are now living in hook-up culture thanks to the sexual revolution. With that being said, how does the average man maneuver through dating/sex?
Even when we are lucky enough to get a date, we are simply placed on a roster of men and in many ways are viewed as disposable. The average women gets thousands of likes and messages on dating apps, almost as if they are celebrities. And much of the media applauds women for disposing of men left and right (like that one song, Cuz Girls is Playas too).
I don't know man, I sort of just want to date one girl at a time, but most women seem to want to date a bunch of guys all at once and try us on like shoes. I'm not sure what to do anymore 😕
Should I just try and have sex with women and ghost them or something? Is that all I should hope for, given that women are now "liberated" and are treating us like trash?

27F. Hi I'm struggling big time with dating and men ghost or reject me within the first 3 dates and I think it's because I won't give up my body to them when I cleary ask within a day or 2 of matching what they're looking for. I myself am only looking for a new boyfriend and a long term relationship, and absolutely no hookups or fwb. I've been on so many dates and it's frustrating and even the single dads in their mid 30s ain't much better. I try everything imaginable from.dressing nice, showing interest, texting first, like I don't get it. Like....what am I doing wrong? I'm about average looking but had a single dad tell me he felt I was out of his league and he eventually ghosted after 1 date. I just wanna meet my person so I can get off these damn apps 😞💔. I know what I want in life and the kind of guy I'm looking for and I'm not going for dudes out of my league either. I look for metalheads and guys into gaming but they both just ain't into me. It doesn't help that an ex gave me Herpes 2 so that scares potential mates away too and I struggle with depression because men don't want me and make me feel worthless and unlovable but I know I'm a wonderful person and I know that I'd make someone happy if given the chance.
I don't really care about rank and am fine just playing the game, but something has been bothering me. Between silver, gold, and platinum, especially this season(so far), there doesn't feel like there is any distinction in ability. Is the average rank gold? silver? platinum? bronze??
I am so confused
If you teach on this platform enough, you'll find the need to send unfavorable messages. It comes with the package. transfer requests. refund requests. inquiries. etc. It's the administrative stuff that comes with the job. But my favorite messages to send are messages of gratitude and/or messages that celebrate student success. It puts me in a good headspace when I am feeling stressed. In other words, it makes me feel good with I celebrate others.
Don't assume that parents hear this from other instructors. Also, don't assume they think favorably of their own child's performance at all. You would be surprised. Getting favorable feedback can be a huge difference maker for the student and the parent and how they see you as an instructor. It can also change how the child sees themselves and how the parent sees their child. Let me mention, don't wait until the course has ended to give that feedback. For example, a 4 week course, I send a message on the second day telling a parent how their child did a great job answering questions. etc. I don't have a set number of how many I send a day or week. I try to keep it spontaneous. Overall, I try to send a message to 5 students a day (on average). Again, these aren't some lengthy heartful essays. It's as simple as "great job today!" click send.
While every child/parent is the ideal person to send a message to, I definitely put a few on the priority list on any given day that are experiencing/exhibiting these characteristics. :
-- A student struggling with the course work. The goal of sending them a message is to celebrate what they are doing right. I sometimes will include some review material. This also improves communication and rapport between myself and the student. I want the student to feel comfortable reaching out with various concerns.
-- Exhibiting good classroom etiquette: getting along with classmates, raising their hand for question. etc. I want to reinforce that. And yes, I do address in it in the moment as well, but the point is for the PARENT to know as well. Example: " You did a great job answering questions and helping out your classmates. Great work!"
-- New to Outschool: If it indicates the student is new to outschool, I will typically send messages that are not only encouraging but informative about the platform. For example, "you did a wonderful job today! if you have any questions about the lesson, feel welcome to send me a message. also check out the class recording, by clicking this button, etc...."
